Dear Members,
They say all good things come to an end. As we close out 2025, we are writing to inform you that our non-profit, Health Choice Maryland (HCM) is dissolving after serving Marylanders for 7 years. As you may know, HCM was a state chapter of a national non-profit, American Citizens for Health Choice. We received notice in December 2025 that our parent organization was terminating for various reasons. We therefore had to dissolve our state chapter.
This was surprising since, thanks to your support, we had a healthy and solvent state chapter. With the recent legislative session, HCM was no longer be there to educate, monitor bills, inform you with action alerts and provide support. The good news is that we have formed a partnership with Stand for Health Freedom and other organizations to continue the mission.
We urge you to subscribe to our newly created Stand for Health Freedom Maryland chapter to continue to be informed and to receive legislative updates, action alerts, science based health information, support for parental right, medical informed consent and medical freedom.
We respect your privacy and will not share your current data with other organizations. Therefore, to continue to be informed, you must sign up to subscribe to SHF. When you sign up for SHF, the system will identify your address as a Maryland advocate.
In order to donate to the Maryland chapter however, you must go to the Health Freedom Institute (HFI) link. HFI is the non profit 501c3 parent of SHF and donations are therefore tax deductible. If you click the box that says this gift is a tribute then you can earmark funds and even send a notification to yourself that the funds were donated. Make sure that you are using the HFI link for c3 donations:

Once you have subscribed to SHF Maryland (SHF MD), you will receive emails from us regarding health related information, informed consent, legislation and action alerts. You can also always go to the SHF website and click on Maryland (MD) on the map for more information.
